Review: BB Cream to CC Cream, and now to DD Cream

Hi again sweeties!

Haven't blogging this fast few weeks, because I don't know what to post.

But when I see this DD Creams, I got inspired to post a reviews about these creams. Because when I saw this one it reminds me on BB & CC Creams.

Okay, so let's start reviewing 'bout BB Cream first.

WHAT IS BB CREAM?

BB cream stands for blemish balmblemish basebeauty balm or beblesh balm (apparently because of a trademark in Korea on the word "blemish"), and in Western markets, beauty balm. It is a cosmetic item sold mainly in East and Southeast Asia, although larger beauty brands are increasingly introducing BB creams to Western markets.

USES:

BB cream is promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock.

It can be worn alone as a tinted moisturizer, over serum and moisturizer as a regular foundation, and under powder, depending on the desired amount of coverage.

REVIEW:

Many people currently use this as their regular foundation. Well I guess foundations has a very big differences with BB Creams. But I haven't try any creams yet, I think I'm going to buy one of them soon.

The first time I saw this BB Cream is on internet first. I saw the brand SKIN 79, but it's a little bit pricey than other cream foundations.

WHAT IS CC CREAM?

CC cream, also known as Color Control cream, is a refined blemish balm cream or Beauty Balm created and developed in Korea. BB (Blemish Balm) cream was originally formulated in Germany and has in recent years gained popularity in Asia, and is also gaining popularity Europe and North America. CC cream is widely used in Asia to provide natural-looking skin coverage.

USES:

CC cream's benefits are reputed to include sun protection as well as better coverage, blending, and treatment of uneven skin tones than BB creams. Some users find it to have a lighter texture than BB cream, which allows for smoother application with a less oily finish.

REVIEW:

I guess CC Cream is better than BB Creams, but I think it depends on what your face needs.
I haven't seen any CC Creams here in the Philippines, but when I saw some I think I'm going to buy one to do a review about these.

After releasing BB Creams & CC Creams in Korea & Germany, here's the DD Cream from JULEP.

WHAT IS DD CREAM?

Well therein lies the problem. At the moment there are few on the market but some brands have considered it a ‘Daily Defense’ Cream, almost like a traditional healing balm for problem areas like elbows, knees etc. however, Julep, has brought out a DD Creme that is just like a CC or BB but with more coverage!

USES:

It Protects skin, moisturizes, diminishes fine lines, and balances uneven tone.

REVIEW:

DD Cream is the latest cream among all. JULEP first launches it, but now I haven't seen any local brand who have this one. I hope they'll make one soon so that Filipina's can try this one.

Some DD Cream has a very big differences between BB Cream and CC Cream. WHY? It's because DD Cream can be used for healing balm for problem areas like foot, elbows, etc.

But don't worry because DD Cream from JULEP is for your face.

And that's it, I hope you learned more about these Creams.

I've never heard of DD Cream! I don't really like Julep though, so I don't know if I would be impressed, haha.
